Hello members,
I'd like to share some information on how to check and apply Google Play system update.
For some reason, this update is not being applied automatically during monthly patches/updates (at least for Samsung phones).
(This update check may be applicable to all smartphones but below are the steps for Samsung smartphones.)
Note: You'll need to restart your phone after clicking on update check. So be ready for that😬
Go to Settings -> About Phone -> Software information -> Google Play system update.
Restart. Then check again. Do it until it says 'Your device is up to date.'
These updates mostly include security patches from Google for their services like Play Store, Google Play services but may also include some added features/optimization.
