Some Accidental Incidents gives us ideas for something better & new to overcome and this is what we call a "change".. My S22U Display burn gives me this idea for " Separate Full Gallery lock". We were asking for this from 2-3 years but Samu not realizing it's necessity. But Safeguarding our Photos/ Videos is our top most priority.
Let's see what we have... to Protect our Gallery Section from Unauthorized access or while going for repairing..
1. Maintenance Mode
This is exclusively for Mobile phone repairing purpose & we need to turn on while going for repairing to avoid unauthorized access by repairing staff. Now big drawback is that Not everytime you got opportunity to activate this option (Display Burn/ Touch not working), In such cases nothing in your hand and we need to share our Unlock pin/Password with repairing staff. And fear of access towards our Gallery Section and possible misuse of photos or videos.
2. Secure Folder.
This option is used to lock our Photos/Videos/ Apps/ from Unauthorized access and it is password/pin/Pattern protected other then unlocking Credentials. Issue with this is that " For Moving/Unmoving Complete Album/Albums time consuming process, Complex process of resetting Password, In rare Cases if finger print not enable then unlock with unlocking pin/Password along with it's Exclusive Set Separate pin/Password/Pattern.
3. Gallery Lab
Here also we can protect our Gallery Section data but We can't fully rely on this as it works with lock Screen Credentials, No Separate locking option (I hope so 🤔🤔).
So what i believe is that we must have a Gallery lock 🔓, Where we can Select Album/Albums to lock with Separate locking option (Pin/Password/ Pattern) along with just only Fingerprint used to unlock the device (No working with Pin/Password/Pattern used for unlocking device) and if Somebody added fingerprint after knowing unlocking Pin/Password/Pattern then first it Confirm with Separate set locking option and then only allow access just like for Samsung wallet/ Secure folder..

But Separate Full Secure lock for Gallery Section is must...
