Galaxy Unpacked 2024 date confirmed.

Samsung will host Galaxy Unpacked 2024 in San Jose on January 17, 2024.

In this Unpacked event, Samsung will unveil Galaxy S24 series & Galaxy AI which is the latest premium Galaxy innovations that providing an all-new mobile experience powered AI.

But only Galaxy S series users will be able to use Galaxy AI.

The event will be streamed live on samsung.com and Samsung's Youtube channel.

Is this AI available for s23 series ?

Yes, as a feature drop.
All S series phone will be early eligible for Galaxy AI after the S24 series launched.
I have no idea about midrange and budget series.
However, S24 series will be launched along with Galaxy AI.

Galaxy AI is it hardware base or software base

Galaxy AI is based on both: software & hardware.
Galaxy AI is capable of on-device AI data (prompt) processing, which means there is no need for cloud processing (internet) to use some AI features on upcoming S24 series.
However, Galaxy AI will be available as a pure software based on the older S series.
Galaxy AI will come embedded with all samsung's native apps in the upcoming S24 series.
