Samsung’s latest Galaxy S25 series, despite being housed with a lot of new features, has been under a few controversies due to certain factors, while the key reason behind such debates is the removal of Bluetooth connectivity from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen. Meanwhile, Samsung has just begun selling the official replacement S Pen, but with the same cost as earlier, though.

Well, Samsung loses its Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen key functionality, and thus, removing the Bluetooth connectivity confines users to only a few limited features, as they will not be able to use other significant functionalities like Air Gestures, camera shutter buttons, and more.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen (Without Bluetooth) Available—But at What Cost?

Despite removing the most significant factor, the Bluetooth feature, a replacement S Pen for the Galaxy S25 Ultra is now available for sale via Samsung’s official site. It carries the EJ-PS938B version number and is priced at $50 in the US; however, it’s the same price as what Samsung sold the previous replacement S Pen for the Galaxy S24 Ultra.

Alternatively, the replacement S Pen is available in different colors, including black, light gray, and light silver.

Also, Samsung has already declared that the Galaxy S25 Ultra unit will not support any Bluetooth-enabled S Pen, and the decision to remove the Bluetooth connectivity from the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen of Samsung is kind of nice, as it’s analyzed that from millions of fans, only 1% of users have been accounted for using the Ultra model’s S Pen; the remaining didn’t even bother with it.

With this being the case, users will not get the replacement S Pen for their Galaxy S25 Ultra at the same cost as its predecessor, the S24 Ultra’s S Pen, with no discount or price cut.

It's good innovation but what about those users who were happy to use features like air action ?
