M-series after launch has been very popular in India. After the fall back of J series in India, Samsung launched their very popular M series. The M10, M20 and the M30 were its first three phones. This series was dedicated to midrange segment. Its main aim was to expand the specs in the budget segment. But this series was famous for battery life in this price segment. The M20 and M30 came with 5000 mah battery. The cameras were good if not best. But the problem was with processor. Both the M30 and M20 came with Exynos 7904 processor. This processor is not bad but it was not good for gaming. But nonetheless the M30 got a hit because of the Super Amoled Display and triple cameras. Then the M40 came and it packed everything, a powerful camera, a strong chipset, and first “infinity O” display in this segment. But the battery was the main problem. So this failed to touch its expectations. But at the end of September, Samsung did a magic trick and launched M30s. At the price range of 13,990, this phone took the market. It had 48MP camera, a wide angle, powerful Exynos 9611 soc, UFS 2.1, and a bigger 6000 mah battery. The battery was the main buying point of the phone. This phone got up a hit sell. Now in 2020 Samsung has released M21 and M31. Both the phones are good. But considering the price there are better choices out there. Both pack same Exynos 9611 soc and M21 is somewhat similar to previous year M30s. Only there is a 20MP front cam instead of 16. M31 is mainly praised for 64MP camera. But both come with a u shaped notch display. Now let’s talk about M51. The early renders show that it will come with punch hole display. We don’t know whether it will be Amoled or IPS LCD but Amoled will be a great one. Maintaining the competition it should sport a 90 Hz display and 64MP camera obviously. Secondly, Samsung should bring a new processor under the hood. Everyone is bored of Exynos 9611. Along with 5000mah battery and 25 watt charging the phone will be in its top notch. Now let’s talk about my expected specs:

2. Processor – Exynos 985 ( 7nm, 2X Cortex A77, 6X Cortex A55, Mali G77 MP4)
3. Camera – 64MP (Isocell GW2)(OIS) + 12MP (2X Telephoto) + 12MP (Ultra Wide Angle) + 5MP (macro cam) + font camera – 32MP
4. Battery – 5000mah (25 watt fast charging)
5. Storage – 128GB (UFS 2.1)
6. RAM options – 6/8 Gigs (LPDDRX)
7. Gorilla Glass 5, both front and back
