Galaxy M36 5G gets new Android 16-based One UI 8 firmware in Korea!

Samsung has started rolling out a new Android 16–based update for the Galaxy M36 5G in South Korea. The firmware comes with the BYI4 build and includes the latest improvements and optimizations under One UI 8.

• Android Version: 16

• Security Patch: September 2025

• Bootloader: U2

This build was finalized on September 30, 2025, and is currently live in Korea. The global release is expected to begin soon, and the rollout for India is likely to follow shortly after.

Galaxy A35 already got the update in South Korea. In the upcoming couple of weeks the global rollout will start, including India also. Very soon A35 will get the update here.
