Free Screen Replacement Programme Extended

Recently, some Galaxy S22 and S21 users complained that the April 2024 update brought a green line issue on display. Reports are appearing from different regions but Samsung India confirmed to offer one-time free screen replacement within three years of purchase

As of April 2024, Samsung users having Galaxy S22 Ultra, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S20, and Galaxy Note 20 series with the green line problem can get free replacements.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the service I have received from your authorized service center regarding a green line issue on my Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra mobile phone.

I purchased the phone approximately two years ago and have been a loyal customer of Samsung, having previously owned the S10, Note 20 Ultra, S21 Ultra, and now the S22 Ultra.

After updating my phone, a green line appeared at the top of the screen, which was quite bothersome. I promptly took the phone to your authorized service center for assistance.

Initially, I was informed that the issue was due to liquid damage, which would be considered a hardware issue. However, I firmly stated that I had never used the phone in water and that I always use an original Samsung tempered glass screen protector and cover. I presented my invoice as proof of my purchase.

Upon further inspection, they claimed that there was a dent in the frame, which they alleged was the cause of the green line. I clarified that the dent had been there before the green line appeared. Despite my explanation, they insisted that it was my fault and that they were certain the green line was a result of the update.

I was then quoted a significant amount of 23,000 rupees for a new display. As a premium user who has consistently chosen Samsung products, I am deeply disappointed with the service I have received.

I kindly request your immediate attention to this matter and expect a satisfactory resolution. I would appreciate a thorough investigation into the cause of the green line issue and appropriate compensation for the inconvenience I have faced.

Bro same happend with me and now they rejected my claim due to minor dent on my device with have no relation with white bar . Now we have to pay 20k without our mistake it's Samsung mistake samsung have to accept it and replace our devices or screen

Updated my s22 ultra 2 days back, and display turned white and is flickering..there is no scratch or dent on the phone, still samsung thane service centre says it will cost 23k.. is the free display replacement policy still available?

I think its available, visit samsung service center , your phone should not be more than three years old
