Fingerprints sensor isn't working in my new M31

Fingerprints sensor isn't working in my new M31. Tried cleaning the sensor surface, factory reset everything but still not working. Kindly help.

hi I too got the same issue with finger print, how can this be resolved in this pandemic time.

I use a Samsung M31s too and this problem came on my device too . I just removed fingerprint unlock for the time and it started working again , turns out what seemed the case with me was that the software temporarily disable fingerprint sensor if you say did a emergency call with pressing your power button 3 times or someone tries to incorrectly try opening it with fingerprint it came to normal after 2-5 days
