Do you think measures like removing charging adaptors will have a positive impact on the Environment?

My answer is a resounding NO. Because of the following reasons.

1) The durability of a charging adapter is usually less than that of a smartphone. Therefore, by the time one decides to buy a new phone, it's more likely that the adapter will be in a worse condition, if at all working. Therefore, everyone will be buying a new one with a phone, regardless of whether it's provided in the box.
(I use my phones for a minimum of 3 years)

2) The extra packaging materials that are used while selling an adapter separately from the phone will have a much more negative impact on the environment than that is saved by not including the charger. Then there is the extra use of paper for billing details, warranty papers, etc.

3)These points are valid because even Samsung was selling chargers separately with some phones at a discounted price! This proves that people want it and will buy it regardless.

4)I haven't observed any corresponding price reduction when they removed chargers from the boxes.(Apple made billions through this single move)

5)People tend to use the same brand chargers for their mobiles. So, most will buy a Samsung charger for a Samsung phone anyway. Again, more negative impact due to more packaging materials used.

6)Rather than settling for a phone without a charger in the box, budget-oriented buyers may shift to Chinese brands. Again, no benefit to the environment. Rather, a negative impact as most of these OEMs doesn't have a good environmental friendly manufacturing process like Samsung.

So, I chose option B in this quiz/survey. They want us to validate their choice. That's why they included this question in a contest. So that we will automatically select option A thinking that selecting option B will give us fewer chances of winning the contest.

Nb: If this was a normal poll question outside any contest, I am sure that 90 percent would have said that removing chargers from the box is not going to help.

Removing charges is help for company not the customers. Everytime new marketing strategy obtained by brands to earn more. Removing earphones, Only Samsung removing cases and now adapters. So, worse it is.

Exactly this was my and my friend's point of concern when this decision was taken. Charger in box best except if you have Samsung flagship (extraordinary quality)

Avoiding charger in budget segment is the main issue.

Samsung phones without charger ,they looting 💸 from customers. Let's take garbage phone A53 is it worth for 35k🤮🤮 Techie people won't buy even if Samsung provides 2 phones for that price. And there is no charger🤮 and supports only 25w. Samsung should omit cable too bcs of cheap quality cable(feels like chinese) . Finally my point Samsung should omit laginos and save environment and save people. Boycott laginos
