please don't use your phone while charging. In simple sentences it is very harmful for your phone, specifically for battery.

yea, while charging just seeing some aap info for a while, its ok. Its effects may not be so noticeable, but playing games on charging will just kill your battery life as well decrease phones performance.

it's a sheer myth!
There is no danger in using your phone while it’s charging. This myth comes from fears about batteries overheating. Lithium-ion batteries can be dangerous if they have any type of manufacturing defect, but this is rare. However, if your phone is ever excessively warm (while charging or not), get it checked out immediately.
While you can use it during a charge, having the screen on or apps refreshing in the background uses power, so it will charge at half the speed. If you want your phone to charge more quickly, put it in airplane mode or turn it off. Also, charging from a wall plug is always faster than using a computer or car charger.

Performance and battery level doesn't have any reliance unless if your batter is below 10%.
if you are facing performance issues, check if your phone is in battery saver mode and also, uninstall any battery apps that manages your battery
