Tech TalkSamsung not only makes smartphones, but it has a number of segments to serve consumers such as the chipset foundry. This year, Samsung’s chipset subsidiary crafted Exynos 2200 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 flagship chips using its 4nm process tech for Samsung and Qualcomm, respectively.
We saw failing Samsung’s own-made Exynos 2200 flagship chipset in various scenarios like performance, efficiency, and temperature balancing compared to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip. Meanwhile, tipster IceUniverse now shared his opinion that Samsung 4nm process destroyed Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip and powered devices.
Per the tipster, the 4nm process technology of the Samsung chipset division destroyed the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 mobile platform. Due to the fabrication process, all the smartphones are also affected that is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.
Aside from this, the same source further added that the Taiwanese processor maker TSMC saved the US chip manufacturer at a dangerous moment. It’s worth mentioning that Qualcomm managed to get the manufacturing of Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 done by TSMC using the 4nm process.
As the South Korean tech giant’s chipset craftmanship seems to be producing comparatively less-powerful mobile processors, it will occur a bad impact on its crown and reputation in addition to revenue.
However, if everything is not going fine in Samsung’s foundry, it needs to resolve ASAP, otherwise, Samsung’s craftsmanship will be ruled out for a long time to come.

Tech Talk
Partly, as previous Snapdragon chips were also running hot.
There is noise in the industry about the ARM architecture being at fault.
So architecture itself along with Samsung's inefficient foundry caused 8gen1 to heat up but previous chips were also running hot so there are other issues as well.
