Galaxy S24 Ultra in its current state.

Pros:
βœ… Improved colour accuracy and highly reduced saturation in some situations.
βœ… Hot take: The new 5x lens is very useful for medium-range zoom, 10x is still usable and even more usable in low light compared to S23U's 10x lens, thanks to the bigger sensor.
βœ… The new 5x lens is also useful for zoomed in portraits, again, thanks to the bigger sensor.
βœ… Improved detail level.
βœ… Much better noise handling, especially in the darker areas.
βœ… Less "overprocessed dynamic range look" when shooting a scene with bright light sources/neon signs.
βœ… An ability to record 4K videos at 60 fps using all of the lenses while recording.
βœ… Long-range zoom videos look more stable.
βœ… 8K Video Recording using the main camera and 5x lens is possible now.
βœ… Smoother lens-switching transition, with highly reduced "jump".

Cons:
🚫 Due to the replacement of the 10x lens with the new 5x lens, super long-range zoom is not as good or as natural-looking as the S23 Ultra in most situations (30x-100x).
🚫 Colour accuracy and white balance for long-range zoom levels and indoor scenes with an artificial lighting should be improved.
🚫 In some scenes, the highlight control is not as good as the S23 Ultra.
🚫 Basically, most low-light and extreme low-light shots **bleep** when using night mode, even at 5x with the new 5x sensor. Bright but no detail.
🚫 Noisy low-light videos.

Cons from the S23 Ultra that are still on the S24 Ultra:
🚫 Neon signs still don't look as good as most of the competition.
🚫 Banding and overprocessing issues are still noticeable when using night mode.
🚫 The presence of noise is still noticeable sometimes. This might be due to hardware limitation, but let's see how they're going to improve this.

Positive things that are unchanged:
βœ… Stabilisation is still excellent when using all of the lenses.
βœ… Portraits still look great in most scenes, with great edge detection
