The sensors in the Galaxy S22 5G line are 23% larger than those in the Galaxy S21 line. This means more light can penetrate through the smartphone lens, resulting in clearer, sharper, and more detailed photos.

Thanks to a larger sensor, Samsung has developed the Adaptive Pixel technology, which combines nine nearby pixels into a single, larger pixel while maintaining image quality and detail.
For instance, in the case of the S22 Ultra, it works as follows. In very low-light conditions, when you take a picture, the custom pixel captures 2 images, one 108 MP and the other 12 MP. The device’s software integrates them into a single, high-resolution, well-lit, and stunningly detailed image. Thanks to the powerful processing of the S22 line, it all happens in the blink of an eye.
Crystal Clear Glass
To make sure your photos are absolutely sharp, the outer lenses of the Galaxy S22 Ultra are made with Super Clear Glass, which is a low-reflection nano-coating glass that allows you to reduce the glare of the lens.
Super Stable Video
Videos recorded with Galaxy S22 smartphones are highly stable due to OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) and VDIS (Video Digital Image Stabilization) technologies. The enhanced OIS features increase its range by 58% and physically stabilizes the VDIS lens, predicting your movements before you start shooting.
