its really not really easy and convinent way of calling "hey bixby" the letter x in the word in not so comfortable and not easy as well.
but calling " ok google " and "hey siri" don't have a complex letters.
even "hey cortana " works for me.
but "hey Bixby" 😏 its big no no to most of the vocals.
could you please think about the different slang of countries and how they spell the letter "x" is little different.
insted you can change the name of your voice assistant and also include some AI features like "google bard" " bing chat" "chat gpt"
etc...
also please look into android auto ... where we should be able to connect samsung auto in car so that along with voice assistant we can use samsung apps seamlessly.
so the we can do more with samsung own voice assistant
I think their's no need to change the name. Personally i don't feel any problems here maybe bcoz i use Bixby a lot & i'm familiar with that. Bixby sounds unique & cool...
thats what I said .. the name is just easy for language that depends on people with accent of English. but when other countries they always don't speak in English so its not that easy to spell out "x"
1- Bixby is a very unique name. It doesn't sound similar to any other English word so doesn't get triggered unnecessarily. 2- Samsung doesn't control Android Auto experience. Google does. Any feature requests will be handled by them.
But yeah, bixby needs to do a lot of catching up to even come close to google assistant.
