Earlier i had s20 fe 4g varrient for almost 4yrs now, recently it gave in an accident totally broken.
So i use my old spare which i had before s20fe for around 3-4 months now after finally deciding to buy the new monster S23 Ultra which samsung claims.
I have been using S23ultra for over 2months now.
I have few verdicts of my own after experiencing it for 2 months.
1. Camera - it's very huge in terms of numbers and mega pixel but TBH the image quality still feels lacking when i compare to image qualtiy of s20fe.
Many scenerios cross checked still the same and in some cases not so good image quality compared to s20fe.
I have been using 50 MP pixel binning, still that does not justify the loss of qyaltoy since s20fe had only 12MP
2. Battery - Feels really drained out, lacking in power and fast draining.
I really actually have been using it less compared to my s20fe. I used to play tons of game on my s20fe but still managed to get around 6+hrs SOT nad currently im getting around just 7 - 8 hrs SOT with a very medium usage compared to my hogtied s20fe.
Also i don't play much of games now on mobile since i have a PC now.
Resolution wise i have tried 1080p adaptive, 1080 60hz and 2k adaptive , 2k 60hz.
For both 1080p scenerios i manged to get around 8hrs + mins and for 2k i got around 7hrs + mins.
IDK if its suppsed to be great or not but i do feel the batery lacking.
I charge around 85% same as s20fe since curently i WFH so no need to push it.
3. Software - Does not make much of difference apart from cherry on the top scenerios and features.
Overall i fell like i chode the wrong mobile device, thinking back now i think a pixel would have been better and cheaper than s23 ultra and overall is good for its price range.
But i don't fell the same for 23ultra feel like should have been price around 90k for 256gb and for 512gb - 110k would be very much justified.
I'm really gonna mess a lot of people may also get thrased for this but hey it's me who updraged from a fan edition phone after 4yrs and i should really feel like i own a flagship device and a lot of things have improved and changed from last 4 yrs.
Sadly i don't feel like own a flagship device apart from spec numbers, the big display with more nits brightness, a new design and bulky body. The numbers clearly say its flagship but using it for 2months does not justify it.
I literally feel like i wasted my 120k on this device.
Correct if I'm wrong and sorry if hurt any sentiments or say something wrong in my opinion.
With regards
