It's better not to use a VPN than using a "free" VPN. I don't wanna go into the details, but you can google if you wanna know why using free VPNs are more dangerous than not using any VPN at all. If you still wanna use a free VPN for any non-financial and non critical purpose, I would suggest you to use Proton VPN. It's a reputed and trusted brand.

You should use a VPN which falls under the jurisdiction of Switzerland, Germany, Iceland, Panama etc where internet privacy law is strong and freedom of speech is respected.
