I have a issue in battery ...during the night time when the phone is not bring used the battery drops significantly by approximately 20%.

Have you turn on the net and forgot to turn off?
If so the heat up may also be due to poor network coverage area as it has to use more energy to find and maintain signal also while net is ON some background app or auto update may also happen which may drain battery.Hope it helps you

That seems to be the case for me as well. All uncessary like BT, WiFi, Data etc is turned off and even Moderate Power Saving is turned off. I hope it gets fixed with future software updates. It's just that stand by optimisation is not great on this device.

EDIT: I mistakenly said "Moderate Power Saving is turned off". What I forgot to mention was that turning it ON before you go to sleep can tremendously reduce battery consumption. I have setup a "Save battery at night" Routine which auto sets the MPS till morning, since there is no need for the phone to be working at its potential then.

Guys try to turn on medium power saving mode, that may save some amount of battery.

it really worked ...you can see in the screen shot ...after shifting to medium power saver mode and internet working ....the battery drained by just 3 % overnight ... thanks

  1. Perform Battery Optimization: Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory
