Hi there Galaxy Tab enthusiasts!

I'm a university student who wants the ability to digitally notetake (using OneNote) but can't because the only compatible active pen for my device is no longer in production, and don't (yet) want to shell out money for a new 2 in 1 https://routerlogin.uno/ https://192168ll.link/. My laptop is the HP Spectre Pro x360 G2, if that's relevant.

I was wondering with some Tabs having the second screen feature (does this include the Tab S6 Lite??), when a Tab is duplicating or extending the screen on my laptop (say its displaying a OneNote page), can I then simultaneously use the Tab to take notes on that OneNote page using the S Pen? Or does it merely act as screen?

Any input is appreciated!

You cant mirror your s6 lite screen on laptop but you can use onenote in laptop and can use s6 lite tab as a digital tablet like wacom to write on laptop screen. As onenote is free and have much more feature in pc compare to tablet so I think you should just download the onenote in laptop and use tablet as a digital note. For that you have to buy premium account of superdisplay. It can mirror the laptop screen to your tablet screen. Search superdisplay app in youtube.

Yeah... there is a option to extend display (with some third-party app)... but that would have VERY slow response time ...
.
I use it as my secondary display for reading some content and typing side by side... fps is like 10-15-ish

Use Samsung notes or OneNote app instead on your tab... that would be better imo
