I had a tab S7+, undergone an out of warranty display replacement recently. Within a few days, SPen can't dock/charge, also spen touch/hover is not working. Service centre first tried to blame the SPen (which is an accessory and has a limited warranty) Then they tried changing software. Then they changed the SPen wireless charging strip at the back and it worked for few hours . Again the symptoms came back. Now they are changing the display. Any technicians/engineers here can guide me in the actual diagnosis of the device as both the wireless SPen charging/docking strip as well as the display digitiser is not working.
Are the service centre guys right in replacing the display?
