SM-T385 not recoverable after firmware update?

The tablet is mostly not responsive - the screen stays black with no sign of life - despite being in a good charge and cable for plenty of time.. - but this screen occasionally appears when attempting to turn the phone on.

Any ideas on how to get this screen to show up

What to do when it does.

I  don't need the data so some of hard reformat would be ok!

Use your volume down button to bring it to "Wipe data/factory reset" and hit the power button. Confirm in the same way and your tablet will be reset to its factory settings.

The tablet is no longer powering on at all - must have been some kind of failure internally.

Unfortunately out of warranty...
