Issues found in penly app version 1.21.9 (updated till 1st march 2024)
1. MAXIMUM TIMES TEXT BOXES DONT IDENTIFY THE PARAGRAPH I AM MAKING DURING HANDWRITING.. after writing a long para it doesnt identify all paragraph site and all becomes in text format in one single line!! I had to put space and make them section wise all again.. so frustrating 2. No Math box 3. Speech to text and text to speech option is not there 4. Many times after writing a text box and auto convert to text, I cant edit that with my pen writing a new part with handwriting... but if I use keyboard it works. 5. Can't disable solo s pen support after enabling once.. had to change that in settings again.. but if I enable hand touch support, s pen doesn't work permanently then 6. No options for laser pointer.. need to change colour of laser pointer also.. check similar apps for such 7. No option for rounded end shapes like box with rounded ends 8.cant create own custom cover for notes. 9. I cannot find any way to get the measurement from the perimeter or area tools. No ruler option. 10. Must have options of custom size of page to be added 11. No way to search words or phrases. 12. Limited pen selection.. no options for calligraphy brush..pencil etc.. need more pen options 13. No way to view table of contents 14. Edit the recorded sound, no options for sound recording 15. no zoom box like goodnotes app 16. No option for palm rejection 17. No options for ocr of image 18. page should be added by sliding up slightly. 19. Why no windows version still not available?? For using in win11 we need to install emulator!!! 20. More than 2000 pages pdf opening and editing is not supported 21. some features are still missin g like infinite space for creating notes, note bold feature, option to change thickness of already written word (s). There's a lot that can be done to provide users a better experience: 22. In terms of features - toobar, templates, organisation, importing and exporting files, 23. Make the appearance of the page zoom percentage optional through the settings, and for those who want it to appear, and for those who do not want it to appear, they block it from Settings, 24. Pen mode is just for namesake. Ball pen and fountain pen have not any difference. Both are same No difference in stroke. lmprove this. 25. Page size should have an option of unlimited size or free size like in onenote of Microsoft. 26. Like scrolbar Toolbar should have an option of moving or adjusting the place over the display. 27. Handwriting recognition should be more precise. Scribble to text feature will add much value to the app. Please do consider. 28. No ebook support. 29. No page-turning option. You are limited to scrolling endlessly through your document. 30. Can't lasso crop pictures 31. EXPORT OF ALL LETTERS BECOMING PIXELATED 32. if at the border of page i started putting texts.. it goes out of the page and can't bring them back. Everytime I start typing .. I need to check how much I need type and whether that will go straight out of page or not..so disgusting 33. App can't identify handwriting to text (if I write some handwriting in few paragraph) ... so everytime I need to write few words and wait for app to identify them and then again write
