Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we would request you kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Make sure you are using the correct S Pen for your Galaxy device. S Pens differ depending on the Galaxy device you have. They are not interchangeable and may not work on unsupported devices.

Reconnect or reset your S Pen using these steps: Step 1. On the Home screen, swipe down on the notification panel. View of the Galaxy Phone Home screen with a swipe-down gesture.

Step 2. Tap the notification for the S Pen connection. View of the notification panel with a tap over the “S Pen disconnected” message.

Step 3. Reinsert the S Pen as instructed on the screen. View of the “Reinsert the S Pen” notification.

Step 4. Wait for the confirmation message on your phone. View of the “S Pen connected” confirmation message.

To reset the S Pen: Step 1. From the Home screen go to Settings. View of the Home screen with the Settings icon highlighted.
Step 2. Scroll down and select “Advanced features”. View of the Settings menu with “Advanced features” highlighted.
Step 3. Select “S Pen”. View of the “Advanced features” screen with “S Pen” highlighted.
Step 4. Select “Air actions”. View of the “S Pen” screen with “Air actions” highlighted.
Step 5. Tap the More Options icon. View the “Air actions” screen with the More Options icon highlighted.
Step 6. Tap “Reset S Pen”. View the “Air Actions” screen with the “Reset S Pen” option highlighted at the top right of the screen.
If you still have connection issues after resetting your S Pen, restart your phone or tablet. Restarting a device may fix any issues and help the S Pen connect again.

Please note: Exposure to magnetic or metal objects, as well as some third-party covers and screen protectors, may cause issues with the S Pen. Make sure your screen covers or screen protectors are clean, in good condition, and Samsung-approved.

In case the issue still occurs, please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
