Refer the link in Google support which sets out my problem.
The search filters are not working on My Files (Samsung system app) on this tablet, my s6 lite. Working fine on my other Samsung tablet, a galaxy tab A. Please refer the link where I have shown copies and my thoughts about the problem.
I think that if I could reset the app, in other words delete and reinstall it would work again but cannot do as it is a system app on this tablet.
