How to switch off screen while Tablet connected to extrenal display

Anyone know how to off samsung tab display while it's connected to extrenal Display. like in Windows we have option like duplicate or only one screen..??

How are you connecting the external display. If it's via Smart view, then you have an option. If you can elaborate, someone can help better.

Oh ok. In that case no idea. If that display suports miracast, then you can connect via smart view and it automatically enters into Smartview screensaver mode in a few seconds, which is complete black screen with minimal battery consumption.
