Yes, Samsung tablets do offer options to manage multiple displays. When connected to an external display, you can turn off the tablet's screen or choose how you want to use the two displays. Here's how:

For Samsung Tablets with Android 11 and Later
1. Go to *Settings*.
2. Select *Connections*.
3. Choose *USB-OTG/External Display* (or similar, depending on the device).
4. Select the external display from the list.
5. Under *Display mode*, choose from the following options:
- *Duplicate*: Shows the same content on both screens.
- *Extend*: Treats the two screens as one large desktop, allowing you to drag windows between them.
- *Second screen only*: Turns off the tablet's screen and only uses the external display.

If you're having trouble finding these options or if they're not available on your device, ensure that your tablet and external display are properly connected and that you're using the correct cable (such as an HDMI adapter for USB-C).

How are you connecting the external display. If it's via Smart view, then you have an option. If you can elaborate, someone can help better.SmartSelect_20250109_120236_Smart View_1000303741_1736404357.jpg

Oh ok. In that case no idea. If that display suports miracast, then you can connect via smart view and it automatically enters into Smartview screensaver mode in a few seconds, which is complete black screen with minimal battery consumption.
