Galaxy Tab S6 Lite with Android 12 update doesn't display widget correctly

I have been using the Retro Clock widget for years across many versions of Android and many different phones and devices.  I've never had an issue with it.

I just received a new S6 Lite a few days ago.  The first thing it did was update to the Android 12 update.

I installed the Retro Clock widget and added it to the home screen, but the corners are rounded off and the whole thing isn't displayed properly.  It rounds out the corners so the hours are missing a large part  and only about 15% of the ones digit in the minutes is showing.

Any help fixing this would be greatly appreciated.
