From past 1 month, raising concern regarding DISCOVER app, how its have high priority permission that we as user which bought device don't have permission to disable it , its been one week and no response from customer care
Permission include unlimited internet, background running , unrestricted battery usage and most important it can install apps without our knowledge 'unknown install app' which is high priority permission which only authenticate source like samsung store and Playstore should have

 ## DO SAMSUNG TAKE RESPONSIBILITY OF DISCOVER APP TO GIVE THIS APP SUCH HIGH PROPERTY PERMISSION BY DEFAULT AND NOT LETTING USER TO DISABLE THIS PERMISSION OR DISABLE / UNINSTALL THIS APP ##

My question is with youtube creaters also why not highlighting this security threats,

I understand your concern about the Discover app and the permissions it has. While Samsung doesn’t provide an uninstall option, you can still completely close it. Here’s how:

How to turn off Discover:

1. Tap and hold on an empty area of your Home Screen.

2. At the bottom right corner, tap on Home Screen settings.

3. Scroll down until you see Discover.

4. On the right side of Discover, you’ll see a toggle switch — simply turn it off.

This won’t uninstall or permanently disable the app, but once the toggle is off, Discover will be fully closed and it will no longer appear on your Home Screen or in other areas.

In addition, on Samsung M-series and F-series devices, you may also find another app called AppCloud. This app automatically installs suggested applications in the background, which can consume unnecessary data and storage. To stop this, you should disable AppCloud as well:

How to disable AppCloud:

1. Open your Phone Settings.

2. Go to Apps.

3. Scroll down until you find AppCloud, then tap on it.

4. Select Disable to stop it from running.

By turning off Discover and disabling AppCloud, you prevent both apps from running in the background, using extra data, or automatically installing unwanted apps. After these steps, your phone will work normally without any unnecessary interruptions.

Bro , ur solution will only make them hide from home screen and app screen
These apps have unlimited permission and will be running in background with install unknown app permission, u can not do anything
My concern is why they have such high priority permission by Samsung and why Samsung not taking responsibility of they provided unlimited access and high priority permission
And youtubers and Samsung portray themselves secure than any other brand
How Samsung is different then any other brand just because Knox
What will knox do if apps provided by high permission access do damage to device

I understand your concern, bro. You are right that Samsung gives Discover and AppCloud high-priority permissions, and as users we don’t have full control to uninstall them. The steps I shared only help to stop them from running in the background or showing up, but they don’t remove those system-level permissions.

From my own experience, I also noticed AppCloud installing apps automatically on my device without my knowledge until I disabled it after that, it completely stopped. And Discover also came through a software update, which I had to turn off manually from Home Screen settings. So yes, I agree this is not the right process.

I also hope Samsung will listen to users and, in the future, either allow us to uninstall these kinds of apps or completely remove them from devices.

Bronyour steps not stopping them to run in background, even disabled app runs in background
If u go to property u will see force stop option that's means app or service is running in background, if u force stop any or disable app check again after 30 or 40 mins u will again see force stop option
