My secure folder is locked and forgot the pin

I cannot do anything about the "secure folder locked " notifications in my home and lock screen.

I forgot the password and it doesn't show any steps like "forgot pin" 

Now what to do to remove the notification permanently or reset the password?

1) Open the Secure folder and enter any pin.
2) If the pin you entered is wrong, it will then show an option named "Forgot pin"
3) Go ahead and reset the pin using your Samsung account.

If I enter a wrong pin it says try again in 30 seconds
It just DOESN’T show the forgot pin

In that case, log out of your Samsung account. You will then probably be able to uninstall the secure folder app.

I logged out and was able to uninstall secure folder
but i have another question
does uninstalling it causes the phone any damage or something?
Ps:i had nothing important in that folder though

Nothing to worry. You can always install it later if you need the Secure Folder app. Uninstalling it doesn't harm your phone in any way whatsoever 😀.

Enter the wrong pin. There you will get the option " Forget pin"
Click on that and then choose " Reset" option, It will verify your Samsung account password / fingerprint , on entering , it will give you the option to add New password/pin/pattern

Entering the wrong pin, i don't get an option of "forget pin ", but it says try after 30 seconds
