Lock screen issues

I can easily silent, vibrate my phone when it is locked.Even when it is locked. Phone doesn't ask for pin ,biometric inorder to change volume settings. I need a way to avoid it.

Go to settings > lockscreen > secure lock settings
There you will find the option

Well I don't think there a way to make your device ask for your pin or biometric for changing the sound mode

Initially it used to ask pin or biometric when it is locked in order to change sound mode.when phone was unlocked then only i was able to change sound mode.

I don't think phone asks for biometrics to change sound mode , but it asks it for turning network or Wi-Fi on or off
