We appreciate your feedback. But it can be due to the changes the new security system method (introduced by google side in android 16)of secure folder in UI 8. They may provide the feature again after checking the security in beta programme in it. If you like this, please accept this as a solution from the 3 dot menu on this comment.
Thank you for responding. We respect the new security system changes from Google in Android 16, but users worldwide strongly relied on the instant “lock on exit” protection. Secure Folder feels incomplete without it, and many of us chose Samsung specifically because of this feature. We request that restoring this option be given high priority during beta evaluation.
I believe one of the major downgrades in One UI 8 is the Secure Folder feature. When you close the app, it no longer locks instantly. It would be great if this functionality could be restored in future updates.
