Samsung Wallet let's you add your travel tickets but when Wallet tries to automatically add it to your Samsung Calendar app, something weird goes on and it messes up the timings royally. So, much so, that if you don't notice the flaw right away and rely on it, you'll miss your train or flight 👀 How have they not noticed this for so long without a fix?? Anyone else notice or face this problem?

Facing the same problem, it's absolutely unreliable. If I depend on it, I would miss each and every train.
For me Even the wallet app changes the dates on it's own which is also very confusing. When I have multiple tickets I need to check the irctc app or mails for the correct date and time. This needs a fix ASAP.
In the screenshots, the calendar app shows the correct date but wrong timing whereas the wallet app shows correct time but wrong dates. The correct date is 25/2 and correct time is 4:39 🤷‍♂️1708817659989.jpg1708817660008.jpg1708817660028.jpg

I'll have to wait till I book my next ticket and encounter the error. Other than that the images are already shared, don't know what video clips to share in this regard. And there's no error report as such, but I'll try doing the log thing next time.

The BUG is quite straightforward from the screenshot shared not just by me but other user as well - Wallet app messes with the timings of a travel itinerary when it tries to log the same on the Calendar app while continuing to show accurate info on it's own. To clarify, this info isn't getting pulled from an external service provider api [when Wallet logs the event to Calendar] but between Samsung's own apps, internally. Screen recordings in this regard are a matter of privacy concern & hence shouldn't be expected.

Facing the same issue
I tried to force set my calendar time to UTC instead of IST
That brings the travel info to appropriate spot in the calendar
But I reverted back, coz I don't know if this would have messed with other things in my calendar
Looks like wallet reads the time to be in UTC and then adjusts it destination name and location

Can confirm. Facing the same issue with Samsung Wallet Tickets to Calendar Integration.

As @epixelate pointed out, the issues seems to be that the ticket time is being read in UTC in Samsung Wallet instead of IST. So when moving to Calendar, it is increased by exactly +5:30 hours.

Possible but it doesn't make sense. As per my screenshot, Wallet is reading it correctly in IST. Only when Wallet tries to write this event on to Calendar it is going with incorrect values.

Travelling again, same issue again. Hope it's resolved sooner or later.

I'm facing the same issue. Is anyone reviewing it..? This is completely untrustworthy. Can't rely on the wallet to calendar sync.
