ICICI debit cards can't be used for Tap & Pay

ICICI debit cards are not working with Samsung Tap and pay. Is anyone else facing the issue? ICICI customer care also doesn't have any information on this. Neither Samsung is helping us here.

Finally found the solution for this issue.. Login to the icici netbanking then click cards & loans then click debit card.. Once you click this the netbanking site will show the virtual debit card. If you scroll down there will be an option called manage your tokens click manage tokens then select the debit card which you want to activate for samsung pay. Please make sure that before doing this the card should be added to samsung pay and it should be waiting for verification. Once you select the debit card you will see a section called device token click that it will show as inactive activate it and then automatically the card in samsung pay will be auto verified..

Go to the iMobile app.
You will need to enable it to work.

1) open the iMobile app.
2) Click on the Debit card as shown in the image.
3) On the next screen you can enable tap and pay. (Can't take screenshot of that due to security policy).

Yes tried and enabled it, my credit cards work fine with Samsung Pay but not the debit card

this is strange as its supported by Samsung pay and your other card is working.

I would request you to register your concern in Samsung Members Application. So, the concern team gets back to you as soon as possible.

Please follow this path to register your concern in Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > support > Send Feedback > Error report/Ask questions).

Note. please attach the error log file within 15 minutes of the error occurring.

had the same problem for few months when checked it in samsung members many people are having the issue for years. worst thing icici customer support doesn't give the proper details about this.. Atleast good that we found the solution right now share it with the people whom you know i have posted the same answer in the same related topics in samsung members

Yes even I saw people posts as old as 2019 where people were looking for the solution. I have marked your answer as accepted solution hope in future people will check this post and get their problem resolved. Even I faced dead end on icici customer care as they don't have any idea on Samsung Wallet.
