Fingerprint authentication not working for payments

I pay with samsung pay all the time. Whether it is from the wallet or using UPI! 
After a recent software update, I cannot use my fingerprint for authentication for payments. If we use the fingerprint option, After scanning the fingerprint, the screen stops responding. But the payment using pin works just fine.
I applied the update two days ago!
I hope samsung fixes this!

Remove it and readd

It's due to using more sanitizers our hands finger prints are rubbing

Remove current fingerprint and add new
Its happens sometimes after update in some devices
