I need some help. Since I upgraded from my Galaxy S7 to Galaxy Note 8, I've been facing issues adding my main debit card to Samsung pay.

I can't seem to get the verification SMS from my bank, even though my card is functioning normally. I could easily add my other wallets like Paytm, and BHIM UPI, but I can't verify my primary card and without verification, I obviously can't use it for payments.

I have retried after factory resetting the phone and the app multiple times, without any success. Can someone please help me out on this?

maybe the card has been blocked because it happened to me once so I contacted the bank and they told me that your card has been blocked. so I did what they told to me i u block the card . and there is a chance that the bank is not sending SMS regarding this service

call the bank. when banks smell something phishy, they block such card usage at first, get them sort it by calling. sbi did it to me once, I called them and it was solved.

First congrats for note 8.
I am also facing the same issue in Note 9 and when I called Samsung they told me to put your registered mobile no. in sim slot 1. But as of now my issue is not resolved and it is the issue with Bank.

I have faced this issue with Citi Bank card, when I reached the number of times I can add my card to Samsung Pay. So, what I did was opened my Samsung Pay and removed cards from it and added them again, which worked absolutely fine. Also for verification (just to check), you sim should be able to send auto verification sms (check low balance) which is sent by many applications with your RMN.
