I have been trying since a week to redeem smart club points. It always gives out an error.

As per Samsung customer care, this is due to deactivation of Samsung account. You need to send a mail to ssc.support@samsung.com to activate your samsung account. There won't be any such issue after that.

This is happening with every account not just one. I have tried with 4 accounts(of family and friends) all of which provide the same error. So , may be samsung account deactivation might not be the problem.

***ISSUE SOLVED.***

I had the same issue for a while. Contacted Samsung care, and they told me, the account was on hold. You need to reactivate it.

 

The procedure is simple and quick.

Write an Email to ssc.support@samsung.com from your registered Email id in below mentioned declaration format along with the purchase products EPOS invoice and pic/image of the IMEI number on the product/carton so that they can further proceed with your request. This is to ensure the security of customer accounts.

 

" To the Samsung Smart Club team

 

I ________________________ hereby declare that all the purchases made by me are purely for home use for me and my family and are not for any Commercial, E-commerce websites/ online, Institutional or reselling purposes.

 

Neither I nor my immediate family members are involved in the dealership or reselling of Samsung product categories (including Mobiles phones, TV, Washing machines, Refrigerator, ACs etc.)

 

I understand the T&C of the Samsung Smart Club Program and confirm that none of my dealings concerning the Program is in contravention of that.

 

I also understand Samsung may unilaterally decide to revoke or block my membership and its privileges or change the conditions of my membership anytime with or without notice to me.

Email this, and they will reactivate your services, and you will be able to redeem the points.
