The power cord issue: based on your experience now with the M7 32" ...
1) is it OK to use a 5 Amp to 16 Amp convertor ? ... or does it get heated up ? ...
2) would It be OK to use one of the usual power cords which has the C13 and 5Amp (instead of the one provided) ... but then there must be a purpose why they have provided that unusual cord, methinks.

I got a regular monitor/ smps power cable with a smaller 3 pin and it works.
