Samsung DeX1. Samsung DeX App to Be Discontinued
Samsung has announced that the Samsung DeX for Windows App will be discontinued with the launch of One UI 7.
It will be replaced by the "Link to Windows" feature.
2. Features of DeX App
The DeX App allowed seamless file transfer and multitasking between Samsung flagship smartphones and Windows PCs.
It also supported running Android apps on a larger screen, a feature that will no longer be available.
3. Alternative: Link to Windows
The "Link to Windows" feature will enable Galaxy phones and Windows PCs to sync files, respond to messages, mirror screens, and more.
However, the experience won't fully replicate the functionality of the DeX App.
4. Changes in One UI 7
The ability to download EDGE Panels on Galaxy smartphones will also be discontinued with the One UI 7 update.

Samsung DeX
DeX will continue, but the ability to link to a PC through DeX will be discontinued, and users will be encouraged to use the 'Link to Windows' feature instead
