Your mobile could be heating because may be any app is running in background or from very long or there are crashes in any app and there can also be high battery usage as it also increases the temperature of the mobile.
You can can solve this problem by going in settings then to device care and optimise your mobile. You can also check that if there is any app crashes of not by going to device care and then 3 dot menu bar there you can find "app issue history" click it and you can see which app is crashing.
