it is false, my battery use to drop from 15 to 0%. i have. not replaced it yet but did clear cache partition. And cleared battery logs, now it does not suddenly fluctuate. Basically, battery capacity has reduced lower than 3000mah. Search google for resetting battery reading settings. but problem is there and only solution is change battery. Otherwise you can reset battery logs and it will give you linear reading with respect to current capacity.
