So this story is gonna be a about a coma patient, that obviously ended up there due to a failed attempt to suicide.
The tale starts of with him talking to a girl, Millena, his current crush. They talk a lot and he can sense an attraction between them. Days pass by as they chat and do things together.
But... they never ever touched each other, that Noah, our antagonist or protagonist you decide, didn't realise up until the very end.
Noah would always meet her in a similar setting, in front of a hospital, on a bench or on the terrace of the hospital. Neither did he ask her why she met him there or why she was always here, if she was a patient or was someone she knew there.
Last day, he saw her on the terrace gazing at the setting sun. He went there to tell her about his true feelings towards her, and he did. But except from what he'd expected the outcome to be, what Millena did next was beyond his imagination.
She stood there, silent, with a cold gaze she looked down on him. The smile on his face disappeared. "Are you happy now? Even in the last moments of my life, all you cared about was yourself." With those words and a confused Noah infront of her, she pushed him from the terrace.
Before Noah could even process the situation, he was falling with great speed, and from the 20th story at that.
With a loud gasp he opened his eyes and sat upright hastily. He scanned his surroundings and found a woman with shock of happiness in her eyes and the nurse rushing out to get the doctors. The next few days went in a blur.
He was almost never left alone. With doctors and nurses surrounding him all day. And the noise of machines even when he was alone. He couldn't ask anything about Millena.
The only person who came to visit him was a lady in her 50s who'd claim to be his mother and a man who'd talk to him on video chat together with the lady, his dad. One week passed since he found himself in the hospital and he still hasn't said aything other than answering doctors when they ask if he was hirting or nodding at the thing his supposedly mother and father would say or ask.
The doctors finally declared him to be eligible to go back home but had to come for daily to weekly checkings for atleast two months. On their way back in the car with the lady, Noah still hadn't spoken a word. The only thing that circled around his mind was why Millena pushed her from the building and... where was she now.
One thing he came to know about himself while he heard a doctor talk to the lady was that he'd lost most of his memories due to the mental trauma caused. Bundling up a lot of courage, he finally decided to ask the lady aboyt his situation.
"Ma'am--" "Mom, please... call me that..." with gentle and pleading voice she said. He nodded,
"Uh... Mom, how did this happened to me?" With a deep breath, the lady almost pushed the words out of her mouth.
"Let's keep those things for later, son. All you need to know now is that, you're safe and I and your father will always be there for you."
