Pulwama terror attack in which 40 CRPF personnel lost their lives, India on Thursday decided to pull the plug on its share of water from eastern rivers that was flowing to Pakistan. The decision was announced by Union minister Nitin Gadkari, as part of the retaliatory measures being adopted by the government.
It is the fourth important step that India has taken post the Pulwama attack to punish Pakistan, which has refused to act against Jaish-e-Muhammed terrorists despite the terror group openly claiming responsibility for the February 14 terror strike in Jammu and Kashmir.
