Bro, use secure folder to lock or hide your apps/files..
Swipe down notification panel and tap on the secure folder and enter your pin/pattern/biometrics, after that start adding your apps/files inside the secure folder.
NOTE: SECURE FOLDER IS THE OFFICIAL METHOD TO HIDE OR LOCK APPS..IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED WITH THIS FEATURE, THEN INSTALLING 3RD PARTY APPS IS THE ONLY OPTION..
