OthersHere is what I did.
Go to settings-->General management-->Reset-->Reset all settings.
This will not wipe your data.
Then revoke permission of all the applications which require phone app permission and allow only the much needed ones in limitation.
It reduces lag to about 4s. Worked for me.
This will be a temporary solution.
