c9 pro finger sensor is not working

Finger sensor is not working on touch, I have to press the home button to recognize my finger. Please suggest how to fix it.

I am trying to unlock in on display only. I was earlier using a9 pro in which only finger sensor touch was enough to unlock phone while in my c9 pro I have to press the home button to unlock which is not a good thing.
