we seeing so much of confusion regarding the updates from all users. i request samsung to come up with some solution like email notification or system notification to avoid confusion and panic like situation. you can automatically notify individual users based on the model of mobile phone or other device. or else samsung can continue with the present system and watch the euphoria.
We welcome your suggestion, but we would like to inform that Samsung already have an option to download and notify about the software update once it is available for your device. Open settings>>Software update>>Download update automatically>>Enable.
