I'd like to post some feature requests in the upcoming upgrade.
1) Manual upgrading of the existing system apps. You see, most of the system apps are available online these days. But when we try to install them, it is blocked by package conflicts, even though the signatures are the same. And even, Play store doesn't update several apps. Take Touchwiz Home APK for instance, I can easily get the official updated APK (version 6.1.82.57 or 9.0.01.51 beta for now) from verified online sources such as ApkMirror, but doing so shows me a package conflict. But when I update it from the play store, I get outdated version (6.1.58.5 for now). Applies on all the other system apps. 2) Scroll Capture is really a handy feature. For the same reason as mentioned above, we can't use it.
Previously I had a J7 (2015) and I needed to make a custom ROM or modify the stock to use those "official" features. I'm a developer.
