I keep on saying that Chinese OEMs/ODMs are Comprised on Privacy & Security Parameters..Since most of them having Server in China and your Data is at higher risk, though Oneplus has Conveyed that they have Server in India for Indian Region Phones but for others still doubtful..Even who knows they (OnePlus) have Synchronisation of Local Server with Main Server...May be or may not🤔 Since Chinese are not reliable at all...

Second and most important why I never prefer OnePlus over these Branded Phones Because of One big Security Threat....
Mostly in All High-Mid/High range Smartphones from Samsung You are not able to Power Off Or Increase/Decrease Sound (Ringtone,Media) in Samsung Device without Entering your Security Credentials in Device Lock Condition Nor you able to Disable/Off or Enable/On like Mobile Data, Wifi, Aeroplane mode etc when Enable One Setting in Secure Lock Settings →Lock Network & Security .But Not So with OnePlus, here I am taking example of OnePlus7. You can Power Off OnePlus7 in lock Condition and it doesn't ask for Security Credentials, it's a really big Security Threat, Since one can Stole your Phone and can easily make it Switched-Off and put it into the pocket and you are not able to trace it by Calling even if the Person is with you in Same Bus or at same Place...

Though one can Disable quick settings panel on lock screen in OnePlus7, So you can just protect of using Mobile Data, Wifi, Aeroplane mode in lock Condition..But You Can Power Off and increase or Decrease the ringtone in lock Condition...Is not these are big threat to the Security...Since making your Phone Silent on lock condition is also a big threat and this is why I consider Samsung Over Oneplus, though I bit disappointed with Samsung in terms of delay in Updates & Feature removal Policy...But I Focus more on Security & Privacy So I'll prefer Samsung over OnePlus and if at any point I have to leave Samsung then I'll go with Lg/Nokia/iPhone etc..By Seeing these Security Parameters...With Lg it is same as that of Samsung but about Nokia I am not aware....What's your Choice ???

These options are available in lower mid devices, even in entry level phones.

I completely agree with you on what you have written above. But Samsung has to learn to price its product accordingly that's where other Chinese OEMs nailing Sammy to the wall. India is a highly price-sensitive market and they have to price accordingly. See the price of A31. it's 22k when you compare this price to value proposition and it's bonkers and this is the best time to pull out the price trump card because of Anti-Chinese sentiment all around the nation.

A51 25K, A71 32K, and a lite flagship priced 43K. When it comes to entry-level. I mean millennial series AKA M series. It's messier.

They must focus on customer feedback and refining the software instead of investing large lump money on advertising and paid promotion.

Just imagine you paid 1 lack for a phone, I'm looking at you "S20 ultra" and getting only 2 years of the major software update and inferior SOC compared to other parts around the world 🌏. If they play it like this they become next Nokia for sure.

Yes, you are absolutely right...That Price should be at par other Competitor Brands or Slightly more than Chinese Brands if quality Slightly or more better in terms of Hardware Configuration..So Price Should match accordingly... Presently the price difference is more than what it should be...And also they should provide us SD processor in atleast some Mid rangers and Premium Segment Handsets, if not possible for all...And last but not the least they should focus on Major Update Policy and it is to be increased for atleast 3Year...And Samsung should Configure it out with Google...
