Unable to register product

Hi,

I'm trying to register a newly bought Samsung Refrigerator. It recognizes the serial number but I get this message - "This is not a valid model".

try to call customer care number mentioned in your refrigerator

or if you bought from online then u can also call to them for help or if from offline shop then try to get help from them

This can happen when you try to register on other area websites like non Indian website .
Try creating your Samsung account here & try registering here -
https://www.samsung.com/in/support/your-service/main/#
If still problem persists you can always
Call and write to Samsung home appliances customer care for the resolution for your concern .

As far as "This is not a valid model". I kept getting that for my TV. The  solution was not to use the serial number on the box, but the one on the back of TV.  The only difference was the one on the TV had an additional letter at the end. Entered that and all was good.

in my case I was registering the product on a different country website.

instead of samsung.com/us

I somehow ended up on samsung.com/in
