In a past few days, there have been lots of posts on Samsung DeX and most of you might be aware of the power it holds. DeX was already a great way to get a full-screen desktop experience without the need of a standalone computer. However, it was not an actual desktop.

Samsung changed that by bringing Linux support which allowed users to use a full blown Linux operating system. Samsung bought Linux support with almost all the features you will need to get started with Linux.

With Linux on DeX, all were be able to carry their whole computer in their pockets. Whether for developers or just a user who prefers Linux OS, this came out as a great news.

It ran Ubuntu 16.04 LTS "Xenial Xerus" (Long Term Support) version with full support, but was ultimately discontinued with Android 10 due to lack of developer participation/profitability. The LOD was killed in its beta phase, without a stable build ever rolling out.
