Terms of Participation: #StayHomeChallenge

1. #StayHomeChallenge Campaign (“the Campaign”) is being run by Samsung India Electronics Private Limited (“Samsung”) on Samsung Members App (hereinafter referred to as the “App”).
2. This Campaign will start from March 31, 2020 till closure announced by Samsung at its sole discretion and shall be valid for all Samsung Members App users who have attained the age of 18 years or above, except employees and family members of Samsung and its affiliate / associate / subsidiary companies and their suppliers, advertising agencies and event management companies (“Participants”).
3. Under this Campaign, Samsung will roll out a contest posts on a daily basis asking one question from the Samsung Members App users.
4. For participating, participants/App users need to answer/perform the question/task so mentioned in the contest Post and reply/comment using hashtag #StayHomeChallenge with their answers/submission. For a “Valid” entry, Participants must use the hashtag #StayHomeChallenge alongwith their contest entry.
5. In the absence of the above mentioned hashtag the entries of the participants will be disqualified and no claims shall be entertained in this regard.
6. There will be daily winners who will be selected through randomizer draw out of the pool of the Valid entries received. Winners for each day will be announced within approximately next ninety six (96) hours.
7. Winners will be eligible to receive a surprise “Prize” from Samsung on submission of the relevant information/documents being copy of PAN Card (Self attested), Photo ID Proof i.e. copy of driving license or Passport or Voter ID Card or Ration Card (Self attested), Address proof: Driving license / Passport / Voter ID Card /Electricity Bill (shouldn’t be more than 6 months old) (Self attested) in the manner and within such time period as provided in the email which shall be sent to him/her informing about the results. Samsung reserves the right to ask for any other information as it deem fit, in relation to giving the Prize.
8. Winners shall be announced by Samsung or its authorized third party agency and uploaded on Members App accordingly from time to time. Winners shall also be informed through email/phone number.
9. Prize(s) shall be at the sole discretion of Samsung and shall be on As Is basis and winners will have to bear any and all applicable taxes including but not limited to GST or any other statutory tax or levy.
10. Upon receipt of the documents and after verification of the information provided by the winner, Samsung or its authorized third party agency shall arrange for sending the Prize(s) to the winners in the suitable mode i.e. mail/sms/courier. In case of any product, the same will be dispatched to the winner through courier at the address which is mentioned on the address proof submitted by the winner. In case the winner requests for a delivery of the prize at a different address, he/she shall be required to bear the cost of the courier or any additional cost as will be informed by Samsung, however, the said different address should be within India only. The Prize will be dispatched to the Winners within eight (08) weeks post receiving the required verification documents from them. The Winner shall be sent emails informing them of the dispatch details/POD number / Airway Bill Number (AWB) for the courier enabling them to track the status of their Prize.
11. In the event the Winner is unreachable, ineligible, fails to submit the relevant documents or submits false / forged & fabricated documents, or fails to pay the applicable taxes (if any) or fails to claim the Prize within the stipulated time, the Prize shall stand forfeited and no claims shall be entertained in this regard either against Samsung or its authorized third party.
12. The Prize(s) cannot be exchanged with any product or item, is non-transferable and cannot be en-cashed under any circumstances.
13. The participation in the Campaign is voluntary. Participation in this Campaign constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions. By participating in this Campaign, Participant agrees to receive communication(s) from Samsung and/or its event management company relating to the Campaign and Participant unconditionally agrees not to make any claim or raise any complaint against Samsung and/or its officers, directors, employees, subsidiary or any authorized third party agency in this respect.
14. Participant agrees that all/any entries posted with regard to the Campaign is their responsibility and they shall keep Samsung and its authorised third party agency indemnified at all times again any claim/liabilities including any breach of intellectual property of any third party arising out of or in relation to the articles/content posted by them on the App.
15. Participants shall not post any profanity or abusive comments on the Samsung’s page. In the event of any such profanity or abusive comments posted on foregoing pages, Samsung reserves its rights, in addition to removing such post, to take a legal action against such Participant and/or user.
16. Samsung reserves the right to change, extend, amend and/or withdraw the Campaign or change any of these terms & conditions or replace the Prize(s) anytime at its sole discretion without prior notice.
17. All disputes shall be subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Delhi.
