I bought samsung book 4 pro ultra 7 series 6 months ago and that has been my biggest mistake. This heats like nothing else I have ever seen. I have never been able to use it without external cooling fan. So it has been like a desktop rather than laptop. Plus if I use it while charging then videos on youtube, Netflix or prime starts lagging.
I use samsung galaxy s24 ultra and am really impressed with the phone may be thats why I fell into the trap of samsung laptop.
The battery they claim is 22 hours but reality is hardly 3 hours. Not sure why this much gap. I spent 1.45 lakhs on buying this device and such an upsetting experience was unexpected. I could have easily gone for macbook which they are trying to imitate.
I took the laptop in Netherlands service centre and told them that even when using simple chrome browser or using Intellij for simple coding the laptop starts heating like oven, the solution they suggested is please dont use these applications. They had lots of complain on same device for heating but they have no solution for this problem.
My simple suggestion would be to please please avoid samsung laptops. Phone are good, tablet also is fine but laptop, save your money.
p.s. I have tried changing processor boost settings already and the heating still remains.
